Usually oldschool communists or socialists in the far left spectrum still hanging on to the idea of a Greater Soviet Union in which they’d wished they lived in it.

In the #Netherlands we have the Socialist Party (#SP) which in which voting on matters like foreign aid and supporting #Ukraine, they vote nearly the same as the Russia aligned far right #fascist parties.

There's a massive gap in the left that I'm seeing rn, where many of the most radical among us seem almost unfazed at what's happening the United States, while the more centre-left progressives are bordering on hysteria.
I think it comes down to the fact that many #marxists, #communists, and #anarchists don't see what's going on as unprecedented whereas many progressives, younger #socialists do. I think depending on what facts you highlight and what you focus on, there's truth to this.

At present, I think most people just view us as #book nerds who want to kill people. We need to get out there and convince people why #socialism is the correct path & why #capitalism is a dead end. Most people who hate #communists typically don't know any.
Not just #food, but #household supplies like #toiletpaper or dish #soap. Anything that helps people in need. Make it so people don't have to rely on food banks at #churches for this stuff. We want people to associate #communists with the people who help them out in their time of need.
I don't expect all #queers to be #communists, yet I support their #liberation anyway.
With white #liberals, it's different. They expect marginalized groups to side with #Democrats all the time, and if they don't they turn into #bigots against said group.

All the other "isms" that arise out of fascism is a consequence of the anti-communism. Why were #queers and #Jews targeted in #Germany (and all over #Europe, for that matter)? Most of them were #communists, or at least sympathized with #communism.
