Dad helps our heroes!
Exactly one year ago, this heartbreaking video was released. The little boy in the video reminds us of a boy we met ourselves. He asked us to find his father in #Kharkiv, who had been missing as a soldier for weeks. He is one of tens of thousands of children who are missing their father!
A year later, this video is still relevant as the terrible war is still going on. Last night there were again horrific missile attacks throughout Ukraine.
We have personally visited most of the locations you see in the video in recent months and seen the suffering with our own eyes.
The situation has not improved a year later. More than a hundred thousand people have died and we have seen for ourselves entire villages and towns completely destroyed.
Our actions are for all children, fathers and mothers, grandparents as in this video, for all citizens, but also for the heroes fighting for the freedom of Ukraine.
If you watch this video, you will surely understand why we cannot stop our actions in Ukraine."

Without a functioning extractor – an essential part of the security system – we couldn’t turn on the fryer. No ventilation, no fries.
We tried everything to get the system running. As time passed, the line of waiting people grew, and so did the stress. Staying in one place for too long this close to the front is not a good idea. In the end, we had to give up and decided to hand out candy and treats instead of frying fries. A bitter disappointment for the hundreds of people who had been looking forward to a warm snack.
Just as we announced that we would return next week, the problem suddenly seemed to be fixed. Hooray! Or was it...?"

We, Coen and Franky, are two French fry bakers from the Netherlands and bake free fries and snacks in Ukraine for refugees and soldiers.
Soon we will be baking again and providing help in Ukraine in other ways. After all, it is even more needed now than before. Unfortunately, attention for Ukrainian refugees has slackened. For refugees who have not had the opportunity to flee the country there is even less help.
We do not want to forget these people! We are therefore going to offer help on the ground again with our mobile restaurant. We are a small organization with only 2 people (and local help). You can follow everything we do there on our social media.
