Took a short walk today. Captured a Big Ol Pipe in the weeds, and played around to get that 'blurred moving water' effect.

Four photos from Lael Wilcox's ride through Santa Cruz yesterday. Lael is well on her way to beating the record for riding a bicycle around the world. She has just a few weeks left to ride down to LA, and diagonally across the USA back to her starting place in Chicago.

This is a totally random share today, as I step through some images from my time west of Alice Springs last year.

There was this moment in Ormiston Gorge when I spent ten minutes with a Dusky Grass Wren and it was just marvellous.

I've been doing to test shots today to see how good I can get an image to look when shooting in REALLY bad light. I think it turned out pretty well! The subject helps, of course.
