I feel no nihilistic about #Ontario's democracy. Elections where most people don't show up, and many of those who do don't freely express their opinions. Legislature where the fate of most legislation is decided before it is even introduced. Votes that don't even make sense, committees which pretend to listen to people, only to serve as a rubber stamp for the government. Public consultations that go nowhere, or are ignored. Our voices don't matter.

#Democracy doesn't end on #election day. Now that election is over, contact your MPP-elect about things you want them to work on during the upcoming legislative session. Doesn't matter if you voted for them or not.
