Panel discussion about the post quantum transition.
In general the term transition was mentioned a lot today.
I notice that I am very much more used to hearing it in a very different setting...

Just in time for Real World PQC Workshop:
I took at a look at who currently supports #PQC. The answer will not surprise you at all.
Came for Real World Crypto and the #RWPQC workshop, but Sofia sure looks nice with or without the crypto.
Just a heads-up that at the end of March there is a "crypto week" in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a ton of co-located cryptography-related events. I will also give a talk on Shufflecake at OSCW.

New talk!
Shufflecake will be presented at the Open Source Cryptography Workshop 2025 in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 2025-03-25. OSCW is co-located with Real-World Crypto 2025 and a plethora of other crypto events. Stay tuned!
Mélissa Rossi from the French ANSSI position on hybrids:
"ANSSI strongly recommends avoiding any drop-in replacement of pre-quantum with post-quantum. (exception: hash-based signatures)”
Recommending hybridization.

Lessons learned from Vadim Lyubashevsky at #RWPQC: “Large [research] teams do not imply lots of people checked correctness”
People feel less accountable than if it's a smaller team. Really need a lot of outside checking. Outsiders have more incentives to find mistakes than group members.
