Ice cream stop number one! Moo's Place in Derry, NH. I asked for watermelon Italian ice, but they gave me watermelon sherbet. I didn't complain though because I like sherbet too and the people working there were nice. Very tasty! I also got a raspberry lime Ricky. I wanted lemonade but apparently they don't do lemonade until later in the season. The raspberry lime Ricky is very refreshing and delicious though. This place gets an 8.5 out of 10.

This is my favourite Glasgow plaque. I've featured it before and I'll make no apologies for featuring it again. It can be found in the ruins of the North Woodside Flint Mill on the Banks of the River Kelvin in the West End of the city. Like other such plaques in Glasgow (and there's a surprisingly large number of them), it's not known who created it.

Thursdays are therapy days. Several months ago I decided to give myself a little treat after appointments. We usually go out for lunch, but today was an ice cream day! I got lime sherbet and my mom got chocolate chip. Both very good! We went to a local farm that makes all their ice cream. They even have ice cream flights. I wonder if they'd let me do a flight of sherbets I should ask next time.

Think of the second syllable of "sorbet" to remember that there is just one "r" in "sherbet," despite 7 million Google hits for "sherbert."

"Sherbet" and "sorbet" differ in dairy content in the modern North American senses, but the French "sorbet" once was just a variation of the Turkish "sherbet."

Got gazumped! #JukeboxFridayNight actually turned out to be #ThatFirstTime so my pick for the actual game is the first live concert that I ever went to in Wellington, NZ

Lyrics
“You told me I was the one
The only one who got your head undone
And for a while I believed the line that you spun
But I've been looking at you

Looking closely at the things you do
I didn't see you the way you wanted me to
How, how, howzat!
You messed about I caught you out

Howzat!”
