crazy idea: somebody needs to fork #Blender and then re-tool the ENTIRE UI/UX to look exactly like Autodesk Maya (down to the hotkeys) because HOLY FUCKING SHIT why would the entire animation industry ever use this software like srsly LOOK HOW FUCKING EXPENSIVE IT IS???

The Blender UI is a minefield. ("Why won't it rotate? It doesn't do anything!" One web search later, I'd unchecked the Sidebar->Tool->Option->Transform->Origins and rotate worked like it was supposed to.) But there's just so much information to pack in there, there's probably no way to solve that.

Attempting a mini-golf inspired level instead of a golf course aesthetic. I'm still not quite sure how I want to go about making it fun to play and explore, but I think the way is probably to just literally model a whole mini-golf course -- not just the holes but an actual course with paths between holes, little rivers, etc.

One thing I'm pretty sure I don't want to do is have the player be forced to follow a linear path, at least somewhat. But I can probably force it in some places to add some platforming challenges.
