I always thought the song "Ah Leah" was about Perseus Kambatta in #StarTrek : The Motion Picture.

(She played "Ilia", the Troy prototype who got zapped and turned into a soulless sexbot. The hair was a later patch, #praise the #devs. Any way.)

I have sung it at #karaoke. I know all the #words. I also #identify with Cmdr. Decker, the proto-Riker. (Beard, later patch, praise devs, etc.)

I'm too ~~old~~ #experienced to care much for the "Heresy! Unbeliever!" crusades around technical subjects. Do what works.

The test is: (1) does it #work? (2) does it improve #expressiveness, so the author's intent is clear? (3) does it result in less code, or better #organized #code, or other positive attributes?

If "yes" to all 3, definitely do it. 1 or 2, think about it.
