Eigentlich war im Sommer, mit dem Herrn Sohn und #myamericangirlfriend ein #Roadtrip durch die #usa geplant. Der wurde aus Gründen abgesagt, aber dann gewann der Clown auch noch die Wahl und jetzt kommt ihre Mutter nach Europa.
Für fünf Tage, weil sie mit 75 nicht von ihrer Rente leben kann und natürlich noch arbeitet. Das ist ihr gesamter verfügbarer Urlaub. Den Rest hebt sie sich für Krankentage auf. #sick

A vicious stomach #flu got me, and I've been out #sick for the last couple of days. I could be doing a lot of awesome stuff, but I'm just wandering around the house like a zombie, with the occasional frantic journeys to the toilet. I'm literally sick of this shit.
In other completely unrelated news, it looks like I fixed the issue with PostgreSQL running out of disk space, so there's that at least.
Now I think it's time to see if I can make it to the couch without anything unpleasant and unexpected happening.

I was stupid and ate something that was left out too long on Monday. It’s now Thursday night, haven’t been able to eat or drink anything since then. Dehydrated, the ER filled me back up and hopefully with the right meds to fix the symptoms and knock out the cause. Bleh.
