Maron doesn't mind that I'm humming "No River No Life" (to the tune of Bob Marley's "No Woman No Cry") around two times a day as we walk to the local park and look over, sometimes walk along, this little river, or stream.. In Japanese everything is just River 川, I rarely hear other words like 沢 for stream or anything.. It could be my hearing but I think the signs tend to use 川 river too..

欅ケヤキの木だと思う。 どんぐりのイチイガシかもしれないけど、 後で確認しておきます。 団地(地域？)の公園が素晴しい。 大きい木があると落ち着く。 夏になると涼しくしてくれるからありがたい.... Thanks!!!

Maron by the river. A week or so ago there was collective burning of weeds so there was more area to explore. There was something exhausting about it though, maybe it is the change in season, or we get weighed down by breathing in SakuraJima volcanic dust and burnt weed smoke...
