I often post a very recent snap on Sundays. This is one I took Friday when walking through woods in #Brentwood #Essex. I decided to take my ancient #Olympus E400 #fourthirds DSLR as I like its #ccdsensor. This is a panorama with quite a lot of post. It's spring but most trees are still bare.

Love the colours of this 20 years old Konica-Minolta with a 5 megapixel CCD sensor and sharp GT Hexanon lens. Use it a lot for daily shooting.

A tree in my local park done #pepventosa style. This is 13 shots taken walking round this magnificent tree and stacked in Photoshop - a technique first popularised by Pep Ventosa. I took this with my #ccdsensor #SonyA100.

5/5 #CCD sensor
It's not just reds that have a particular look in the 2006 #CCDsensor
in my Sony A100.
3/5 #CCDsensor Another #funfair snap with the Sony A100's 2006 sensor. Modern cameras are probably more accurate and certainly have much lower noise and greater dynamic range than these early #CCD models, but old cameras can still produce good snaps in the right conditions.

2/5 #CCD sensor Here's another shot with the 2006 #SonyA100 with its #CCDsensor. The 18-70mm Konica-Minolta kit lens has done pretty well at its long end here. This is a processed raw file, but only lightly edited.

1/5 #CCDsensor Early digital cameras used a different technology to current cameras for the sensors that turn a focused image into a digital file. The new CMOS sensors have all kinds of advantages over the older #CCD kind, but many agree that the older type are more film like and can produce great colour. I've just bought Sony's first ever DSLR - the 2006 A100 and took it for a spin around a fun fair in my local park. This is what I brought back.
