Also, bought a Greco GS940 #semihollow #shortscale #bass that I'm going to convert into a #fretless #cello. That'll arrive in a few weeks.

Another #electricBass will be on it's way soon. Details to follow.

Oh. I decided on a whim to buy a new used #Behringer graphicEQ and #DBX compressor+limiter+noise gate. I feel like I stole them they were so cheap but, I know they were sitting around for a long time.

Traded in a hard case that came w/ my #Ibanez bass.

The Crestwood Custom is a blast to play. The mini humbuckers are bright and have some bite. The tremotone tremolo is smooth. A surprisingly comfortable guitar to play. Has a nice range, from mellow jazz to Hives' "Hate to Say I Told You So" rock and roll. The neck access is the same as the SG, but the fret hand doesn't seem as far away. A real surprise and a very unique sound. I've decided any complete guitar collection must have one.

Epiphone Crestwood Custom. Mini humbuckers are brighter than full-size humbuckers. An interesting sound - more oomph than a Stratocaster, a little more jangly than the JazzMaster. Very comfortable to play, and the tremolo is smooth and stays in tune. #guitar #gear #ngd #epiphone

Going to be doing a spot of setup on my new #ibanez Q547 later on (Ibanez do have top model naming skills ) Got it in a sale, reckon it’s been in a warehouse for a while - frets need a polish and I need to bring the action down. Not done this with a mono-tune bridge before but should be ok. Will post some pics later.

i got a new (to me) guitar a little bit ago, very flexible, got a great price off craigslist. pretty versatile, i really like it.

Early birthday gift / hardware upgrade. It will allow me to get better recordings and do more with my microphones. Excited to get this into my recording setup and start using my Shure PG58.

New gear!

A cheesy but fun-looking panorama camera from Lomo that takes 360* images on 35mm film.

And a new-old 35-70 Nikkor lens for the Nikkormat. I wanted a fixed 35mm 2.8 but didn’t want to spend what people were asking for a lens that old, so I snagged the zoom from GoodwillBuys for $40.

I’ve got some Delta 400 and some SFX 200, just need to go out and play!

#Kramer Baretta Special, candy blue. The nut was sticky until pencil lead and needle files. The trem was decked, intonation a bit off on the G and D strings. The volume pot cuts off sharply between 2 and 0. But so far…WHEE!

I picked up this cool Ibanez Altstar 20 yesterday like new on FB Marketplace. It's an acoustic made for electric players and has awesome action and plugged in sound. The neck is like a really nice electric guitar neck. The natural open pore finish is really cool.

Really excited to have found it in such good condition for such a good deal.
