I’ve started listening to traditional radio again.
This is primarily because of the stress and anxiety that news from social media and news portals gives you.
Listening to 15 minutes of morning, afternoon and evening news on Indian national radio (Aakashvaani) keeps me updated and stress-free.

Dhá Dhrom, Canfea, or the Ardgroom Stone Circle in the Beara Peninsula in Ireland.
Stone circles, dolmen, burial mounds and springs are important in my practice as places of power. These ancestral sites are tremendously powerful. These are the thin places, and by becoming still you can commune with the spirits of place. By honouring these spaces you step into the traditions of ancient humans, and you take your natural place as a being that is part of this great web.

@dhedgehog A #RiceCooker that I used for over 40 years died a year or so ago & I just went back to the #OldWays & cook my rice now on the #StoveTop like my mother taught me how to do over 60 years ago.

I use the #KnuckleMethod to measure the water.

I use a 4qt pot. Add 3 cups of long grain rice. Pour water in/out til it just touches my knuckles & put it on the stove top.

Just takes 25 mins on low heat & it's all done. Never burnt. Never over or under cooked. 🤷‍♂️

Don't need a "stinking" rice cooker. Besides I've got too many #KitchenAppliances already. LOL! 😉

“It sounds an almost pitiful predicament. And yet, while it certainly isn’t desirable, some cyber-experts are now advising companies to plan for switching to paper-based processes in the event of IT failure.”
