A proposito di servizi alternativi: ho scoperto l’esistenza della suite e dei prodotti di #infomaniak_com come #Kdrive. Sembrano sicuri e sono basati in Europa. Ma sbaglio o ne sento parlare molto meno che #Proton? E nel caso, perché?

Camera Upload bei diversen Cloudspeichern.
#Dropbox, #pCloud und #kDrive laden zwar Fotos hoch, aber in ihren Apps zeigen sie im "Foto"-Tab dann einfach alles an, was ein Foto sein könnte. Also auch alles aus allen möglichen Ordnern.
#filen und #Jottacloud hingegen zeigen im Foto-Tab nur Fotos aus dem Camera Upload. Die haben ganz offensichtlich für 2 Cent nachgedacht und sehen nicht alles aus purer Datensicherungsbrille.

@arkirch @frank Bin gestern Abend mit meinem aktuellen Projekt bei #Kdrive eingezogen. Sehr schick. Fühl mich wie der Junge an seinem ersten Arbeitstag mit C&A Klamotten in einer hippen Mitte-Butze. Der Umzug mit dem TB-Gepäck muss dann aber mit Kabel und stabiler wlan stattfinden. Die Performance ist sehr gut und der Schreibtisch gefällt mir so gut, da könnte nach dem Dropbox auch der Office-Umzug lohnen. Es soll wohl auch das Betrachten ohne Mitgliedschaft möglich sein. #unplugtrump
Gibts hier Leute mit Langzeiterfahrung mit #kDrive von #Infomaniak #Schweiz als Anbieter für #Cloudspeicher? Stabilität? Datenverluste? Sicherheit?
Als ich die Gratisversion vor Jahren für einen Artikel getestet habe, gingen Teile der Testdaten verloren. Den Bug habe ich gemeldet, sie sagten kurz darauf, sie hätten ihn gefixt. Inzwischen scheint es unter Linux/Android zu funktionieren. Aber derzeit sind bei mir nur wenige Daten im Spiel.
Grund: Ich würde gerne Google Drive loswerden.

#pCloud nun mehr oder minder betriebsbereit auf meinen Rechnern. Bis Juli (spätestens) ist sowas wie Probezeit. Dann läuft mein aktuelles Dropbox-Abo aus. Eindruck ist bislang so lala, mal sehen. #kDrive, #Jottacloud, #filen wären noch eventuelle Kandidaten.
Sto caricando file e cartelle su #kDrive, #Dropbox è già stato eliminato e lo seguirà poi #Proton Drive.
Proton Pass è stato sostituito con #Bitwarden.
Ho esportato i dati del calendario di Proton, caricandoli su quello di Tuta.
Ho attivato #Tuta mail, ho importato i contatti da Proton e sto cercando di trasferire le email. Se la cosa va in porto, siamo a posto.

#kDrive Anwender*innen unter macOS hier? Ist das richtig, dass im Finder keine Kennzeichnung der Dateien stattfindet – wie man es von anderen Clouddiensten kennt, also ein grüber Bobbl neben der Datei als Kennzeichen, dass sie synchronisiert ist, eine Wolke, dass sie nur online verfügbar ist und dergleichen? Oder habe ich irgendeine Einstellung versemmelt? Ohne Kennzeichnung ist es schräg, da nicht ersichtlich ob offline verfügbar oder nicht.

Il y a quelques années, j'avais abandonné #DropBox pour #CozyDrive, jusqu'à ce qu'ils merdifient la plateforme et limitent le nombre de machines synchronisées. Je suis donc passé à #kDrive (qui était prometteur) qui ne tient malheureusement pas ses promesses : les fichiers ne sont pas synchronisés, alors que l'application affirme que c'est le cas. Vous utilisez quelle application de synchronisation de fichiers (sans clé USB)
My reliable & efficient #Infomaniak #kDrive upload seemed stuck on "Calculating" for a large (4GB) file so I was happy to discover that my #Proton subscription incudes #ProtonDrive, which took up the slack.

I've had some troubles with #kdrive sync client recently. I needed to resync my complete local folder and the client got stuck and crashed into "could not write" errors. A ticket has been opened to the support too but so far none of their propositions worked.
Until now, I've think I've found the issue. I've had some old config that made the client going weird. And another problem : it's writing in /tmp during the sync and is not deleting the files once moved to the target.
