+++ Breaking NEWS +++
after the a first initial email to #aws on the 11th of April 2022 (!) the bucket esa-resumes.s3.amazonaws.com/ was closed. It just took a bit less than 900 days. The bucket contains a bit more than 10k CVs from Australia and pictures for ID documents. #amazed

I still do not know who the owner is, as I could not figure it out from the bucket. I am afraid no notice to the affected persons will ever happen.

Looking at it first time today. (svg so responds to [ Ctrl + '+' ] didnt think to zoom it before)

Wow! percentages on everything.

I'm amazed! Astounded truly. 140 lines to achieve all of that? And I'm sure I'm doing it all sorts of wrong. But that's a genuine task solved w/ Python in basically a day, but i've been tweeking around w/ the filesystem stuff.

On the data-science bandwagon of course.
Thought I'd re-do my ⇨ *OLD* ⇦ php static cms (did i meantion it's old?) as a python app to learn from that perspective.
see:

I dunno why i want to start by learning how to mess with the filesystem. probably some kind of psychosis. someone has a name for that.

traverse the dirs w/ tuple os.walk i think at that time, abandoned for pathlib - thought, okay: this is pretty easy w/ python! let's try counting file-types, etc. clearly abandoning the cms idea by that time. Also, i see Jupyter Notebook is basically already the thing. so. ha!

This afternoon the blue jays that like to hang around were raising a ruckus in the trees in the back. I went to the window to see what was going on and a huge hawk flew out of the trees right towards me. However, because our yard has a continuous 15 deg slope from front to back, the hawk was below my field of view as it passed by the window. I've never seen a flying hawk from above before and it was wonderful. #birds #illinois #raptor #amazed

@QasimRashid Read this Brittanica article

Imagine walking, by yourself, at age 5(!!), surrounded by 4 white male federal agents into a building where white adults are screaming curses and threats at you

I couldn't have done it. She did- day after day!

I am so #grateful #thankful #amazed yet #sad at how little we've improved

You know, the difference btw dark and light skin is 5 cells thick, less than a hair. Shouldn't matter! #history

today "why is my lenovo p14s extremely slow?" and #bing did not have anything relevant, but then "can you check if there is anything useful about it in reddit?" and boom! an amazing summary with very specific actions to do, and context (ex. "They have also tried some of the solutions mentioned above, but with mixed results."). #amazed

Just went on LinkedIn. (Yeah, I know.)

* If someone has some everyday work shit coming up, they have to post how they're 'so excited' about it.

* After said everyday work shit, they have to post about how 'amazing' it was.

* They get a new job that's doing similar everyday work shit, they have to 'announce' it - of course with a fuck-tonne more excitement and amazement.

Am I the abnormal one for not being so constantly amazed and excited?
